The Five Regional Brands of Air Conditioner Disappear in Nanjing

At the beginning of June,the season of annual air conditioner sale competition came in Nanjing. Many air conditioner producers do their utmost to plan to grapple the sale chance on the market. However in the sale team in 2005,5 regional air conditioner brands have disappeared silently: Dongyang,Lehua,Yuema,Mulan and Wanjiale.

Su Ning air conditioner Division's manager Shen WenQing says:because the sales situation is not good,in the end of 2004,Ning Su stopped the cooperation with Dongyang. But Su Ning will be responsible for the after-sale service of Dongyang air conditioners sold in Su Ning.

In terms of the investigation done by professional people,another 4 air conditioner brands have the same destiny as Dongyang to disappear in Nanjing market. ShenWenqing says,the 5 brands of air conditioners are all regional brands,but their annual sales quantity in SuNing merely between 20 million -30 million,which has a great way to the achievement of annual sales quantity between 700 million - 800 million created by that this airs condition on the first line. In addition,these producers have small scale,which is very difficult to cope with such situations as manufacturing cost increasing and the policy of the ratio of energy and efficiency coming on,etc. They are also unable to stabilize unit price. As a result,SuNing stopped cooperating with them while adjusts itself at the end of 2004。

2005年6月初,南京迎来了一年一度空调大战的时节,诸多空调厂家铆足劲准备拼杀市场,然而在2005年的这个队伍中,悄悄地又少了5个区域性空调品牌:东洋、乐华、跃马、木兰和万家乐。


苏宁空调事业部经理沈文清称,因为销售情况不佳,2004年底,苏宁就和东洋空调停止合作,但是只要是在苏宁门店出售的东洋空调,其售后服务,苏宁将服务到底。

据业内有关人士调查,今年与空调绝迹南京市场命运相同的还有乐华、跃马、木兰、万家乐四种品牌空调。沈文清说,这5种空调都是区域性品牌,在苏宁年销量不过2000万-3000万之间,这和一线空调年销售7亿-8亿的业绩,有天壤之别。加上这些厂家规模小,很难应对今年空调制造成本增加、能效比政策出台等局面,也无法平抑单价,所以苏宁在2004年底调整时,停止了和他们的合作。
