40% Central Air Conditioner Contains The Legion Fungus In Guangdong
In April of 2005,Guangdong Province public health research institute unite city disease person who accuse,checked and measuree hospital,market,subway and hotel 33 public place i taken a sample 200ML from cooling water,condensation water of central air conditioner separately,and 14 units had been examined the legion fungus appeared positive,the disqualification rate is 42.4%,the situation is not so optimistic. Some experts point out the basic way is to disinfects cooling water,condensation water in central air conditioner regularly,besides opening the window,ventilating and strengthening physique exercise.
According to expert’s introduction," legion fungus" is a fungus which cause disease through some conditions . September which on high temperature and humidity,is the fastigium which the legion fungus disease come on . This kind of germ is apt to propagate in such artificial environments as the cooling tower of air conditioner,humidifier,fountain,etc.,legion fungus depend on artificial aerosol generated by environment,enter human body through alveolus and cause malignant lung disease.. The method to eliminate legion fungus is very easy,that is to add such disinfectant as the chlorine dioxide of certain proportion,etc. in the water of condensation of the central air conditioner,cooling tower,but some administrative departments of public places or large-scale building lack the voluntary consciousness of disinfecting.
2005年4月，广东省公共卫生研究所联合市疾控等单位对广州市的医院、商场、地铁、宾馆等33处公共场所进行检测、分别从各家中央空调的冷却水、冷凝水中取样200ML，其中14家检出军团菌阳性，不合格率为42.4％，情况不容乐观。专家指出，除了开窗通风增强体格锻炼以外，对中央空调的冷却水、冷凝水进行定期消毒才是根本之道。
据专家介绍，“军团菌”是一种条件致病菌.气温高湿度大的9月份是军团菌病的发病高峰期。此种病菌在空调冷却塔、加湿器、喷泉等人工环境中易孳生，军团菌依附在这些人工环境产生的气溶胶上，通过人体吸入进入肺泡可导致恶性肺部疾病。消灭军团菌的方法并不复杂，在中央空调冷凝水、冷却塔中加入一定比例的二氧化氯等消毒水即可，但很多公共场所、大型楼宇的管理部门缺乏主动消毒意识。
