Midea Plans To Constructs 100 4S Shop During A Year

On September 16 of 2005,Midea,as the first air-condition enterprise that announces achievement after ended 2005 air-condition frozen year ( August 2004 to July 2005 ) announce to media: According to the data that State Information Center and Chinese commercial net offered,the total quantity of production of company's domestic and international market reaches nine millions,exceeds Gree and Haier instantly,become ahead in the domestic air-condition industry.


The senior leader of Midea reveals that in 2005 freezing year,the sale of Midea air-condition in domestic market is lower a little than Gree which is the greatest domestic air-conditioner company,but Midea’s sale abroad is as high as 4,300,000,is highly ranked as domestic air-conditioner companys ahead,therefore Midea’s total sales volume exceeds Gree’s.


Soon afterwards,air-conditioner general manager Wang Jin Liang of domestic sale company of Midea has revealed a astonishing news: Midea plans to build the 100 shops of 4S in nation-wide first level city during a year,eventually establish own chain system.

Wang Jin Liang introduces,each 4S shop’s area is about 200 to 300 square metres,and each shop would be invested 2 to 3 millions Yuan. The major functions of these 4S shops are to demonstrate brand vividly,discuss project,provide group buy and receive government’s buy mainly,and also deal retails although it is not main sale method. Once the 100 4S shops are built completely,they would strengthen the self sale ability of Midea air-conditioner,increase the right of language with the chain market of home appliance.

05年9月16日,作为2005年空调冷冻年度(2004年8月到2005年7月)结束后第一个公布业绩的空调企业,美的向媒体宣布:根据国家信息中心和中华商务网提供的数据,公司国内外总产销量达到900万台,一举超过格力和海尔,成为国内空调行业老大。

美的高层透露,2005年冷冻年度,美的空调内销比去年的国内空调老大格力略低,但外销高达430万台,高居国内空调行业之首,因此总销量超过格力。

随后,美的空调国内营销公司总经理王金亮披露了一个惊人消息:美的计划用一年时间在全国一级城市建100家4S店,最终建立自己的连锁体系。

王金亮介绍,这些4S店每家面积约在200到300平方米左右,每店投入200万到300万元。这些4S店的主要功能以品牌形象展示、洽谈工程、团购和接待政府采购为主,虽然不以零售为主,但有零售业务也会做。一旦100家4S店建设完毕,将增强美的空调的自我销售能力,加大与家电连锁卖场的话语权。
